This house is located on the outskirts of Takasaki in Gunma Prefecture. The two-story house was built for a couple and their young daughter, which the couple planned to build on the land they inherited from their parents. The site is long and narrow in the north-south direction and was not an ideal living environment. Hence, a courtyard was placed in the center of the site to invite the wind, and a plan for a townhouse was considered. The living room surrounds the music room where the family can gather and enjoy music together, and the living room is connected to the courtyard. The distinctive gabled roof provides a large interior space and privacy from the outside.

이 집은 군마 현의 타카사키 외곽에 있다. 2층 집은 부부와 어린 딸을 위한 곳이며, 부부는 그들의 부모로부터 물려받은 대지에 집을 계획했다. 남북 방향으로 길고 좁은 대지는 좋은 생활 환경은 아니었다. 그래서 바람을 들여올 수 있도록 안뜰을 대지 중앙에 배치하고 타운하우스와 같은 평면이 고려됐다. 가족이 모여 함께 음악을 즐길 수 있는 음악실을 거실이 감싸고 있으며, 거실은 안뜰로 연결된다. 특색 있는 박공 지붕은 내부에 넓은 공간을 제공하며 외부로부터 사생활을 보호해준다.
