House in Shiki

The house with big wooden roof is located in Shiki, a neighboring city of Tokyo. The space covered with flat roofs and the space covered with gable roofs are arranged in an ㄱ-shape on the land. The main volume covered by a large wooden gable roof was planned to be two stories high, with a partially lofted space planned. In addition, the living room and drawing room are arranged in the front, the kitchen, bathroom, and backyard are in the back, and the children's room and tatami room are in the attic. The space covered by the flat roof is half buried in the ground, and the architect removed the boundary by finishing the inside of the house and the terrace with the same stone material.

큰 목조 지붕이 특징인 이 집은 도쿄의 이웃 도시인 시키(Shiki)에 자리 잡고 있다. 평지붕으로 덮인 공간과 박공 지붕으로 덮인 공간은 대지에 ㄱ자 형태로 배치되어 있다. 큰 목조 박공 지붕이 덮인 주요 볼륨은 2층 높이로 계획됐으며, 부분적으로 다락 공간이 계획되어 있다. 또한, 거실, 응접실은 전면에 배치됐고, 주방, 욕실, 뒷마당은 뒤쪽에 있으며 아이방과 다다미방은 다락에 있다. 평지붕으로 덮인 공간은 반쯤 땅에 묻혀 있는데, 건축가는 집 안과 테라스를 같은 석재로 마감하여 경계를 없앴다.
