This project was planned as a courtyard for a hotel located near a park and an eco-zone. The space is mainly used for weddings and serves as a cafe on other days. With this in mind, the designer focused on creating a lighting concept suitable for weddings. First, a row of lights was placed on each side of the hallway that crosses the swimming pool, combining the lighting design of an airport runway with the space. This creates a sense of layered areas between the "water" and "land" sections. During the day, the place is a modern garden with minimal design, and at night, the "land" area appears as a romantic tropical island. The main space for events is the courtyard located near the hotel lobby, specifically designed for hosting weddings. As a result, this project has become a place that provides enough light for activities even at night without losing the focus on the overall concept.
이 프로젝트는 공원과 생태 구역과 가까운 호텔의 안뜰로 계획됐다. 이 공간은 주로 결혼식을 위해 사용되며, 다른 날에는 카페의 역할을 한다. 이를 고려하여 디자인은 결혼식에 맞는 조명 콘셉트를 잡는 데에 집중했다. 첫 번째로, 디자이너는 공항 활주로의 조명을 이곳에 접목시키기 위해 수영장을 가로지르는 복도 양쪽에 조명들을 나란히 줄 세웠다. 이로써 “물”과 “육지” 영역은 사람들이 공간에서 더 많은 단층들을 느낄 수 있도록 조성된다. 낮 시간에 이곳은 미니멀한 디자인을 가진 현대적인 정원이고, 밤에는 로맨틱한 열대 섬처럼 “육지” 영역이 나타난다. 이벤트를 위한 주요 공간은 특별히 결혼식 거행을 위해 사용되는 호텔 로비 가까이에 있는 안뜰이다. 이렇게 이 프로젝트는 “전반적인 콘셉트의 중심을 잃지 않되, 밤에도 활동을 할 수 있는 충분한 빛을 제공하는 곳”이 됐다.
