CSKA stadium is located on the border of Khodynka field territory, the layout of which was also developed by the authors of the architectural solution of the stadium. The urban planning decision of the object was made taking into account the extreme crowding of the site. The stadium tower closes the perspective of the former runway of Khodynsky field and is actively included in the panoramas of the surrounding development. Four stands, separated by four volumes of office and hotel blocks located in the corners of the stadium, are united by a single slab covering the stands, which has the form of a hyperbolic paraboloid. One of the corner volumes rises above the surface to the level of 142m and serves as a reference point for spectators moving to the stadium, as well as a significant element of the Khodynka field ensemble. The design of the stadium is also innovative. The complex is designed in dynamic forms: the light-transmitting coating over the stands and the stadium facades are designed in the form of hyperbolic paraboloids, the office tower symbolizing the football cup - in the form of a hypar.

모스크바 CSKA 홈구장인 VEB 아레나는 모스크바 코딘카 부근에 위치한다. 이 부지 선정에 대해서는 건축가의 의사가 많이 반영되어 있는데, 도시계획상 부지에서 혼잡한 교통체증이 일어날 수 있기 때문이었다. 이 경기장에 설치된 타워 형태의 건물은 2005년 러시아 축구클럽 가운데 처음으로 CSKA가 UEFA컵 우승을 기념하기 위한 구조물로, 지역의 전망을 즐길 수 있는 공간이다. 경기장 모서리에 위치한 4개의 사무실과 호텔 부분으로 분리된 4개의 관중석은 이를 덮는 쌍곡선 포물선 형태의 단일 슬래브로 통합된다. 네 개의 모서리 중 한 부분은 지면에서 142m 높이까지 올라가며 경기장으로 향하는 관중의 기준점이자 코딘카 지역의 조화로운 풍경을 만들어낸다. 이렇게 혁신적인 디자인을 가진 경기장은 역동적인 형태로 설계됐음을 곳곳에서 보여준다. 관중석과 경기장 파사드 위의 광전송 코팅은 쌍곡선 형태로, UEFA컵을 상징하는 업무공간 빌딩 부분은 하이퍼 곡면 구조로 되어 있다.
