This project started with a donation from a Christian entrepreneur. As a Christian, I was grateful for just being able to participate. I had a number of discussions with my mentor pastor about the determining the site as well as the construction method. Proposals that add to the school's forest, or in the form of a memorial hall on the rooftop floor of a building that is planned for extension were the subjects of review. The final decision was made after an overall review including the symbolism as a starting point of workshops to continue to enter the forest in the future and the accessibility of students as well as general pottery students.

The existing earthwork retaining wall that had to be maintained functioned as a limiting factor of the pottery workshop's overall scale as well as a form regulating factor. The scale was determined by adapting the relationship between the frontality and the three existing buildings. By utilizing the level difference of the land, a second-floor deck and entrance that will be used in the extension and link from the second floor to the forest in the future were planned. Furthermore, the overall space was planned by making the process of leading to the entrance of the second-floor deck from the right-angle corner entrance into a short architectural promenade. The view from the central hall was aimed to be divided into three types. The window overlooking the forest was placed taking into account the sunlight coming through the leaves and branches in the morning. The west window considers the opening towards the central outdoor courtyard as well as the opening to the sky and is also a facade element.

For the interior finish, the property of the raw material was made to be revealed as it is in order to harmonize with the process of pottery. Today's appearance, such as the selection of the final finishing materials, the upgrade of hardware, and glass and windows, is the result of the efforts and hard work of the site manager and school officials. It was one of the various efforts made to prevent any leakage in the use of donations while considering the increase in construction costs.
