GUOSEN SECURITIES TOWER

The Guosen Securities Tower is a tower height 228m, in Shenzhen, China. The project by Studio Fuksas is born from the intention to create a new concept of vertical public space for the tower. A three-dimensional void will be arranged along the facades giving a dynamic image to the building and creating different public scenarios for the offices. The design of the void shape explores the relation between the podium and the vertical section of the tower with diagonals spaces and fluxes that create a vertical tension in the full height of the tower. To emphasize the concept of void, the external glass envelope of the tower is kept as a clean and rational parallelepiped. Inside, the solid mass of the office volume is carved with the open space of the void. The play between the solid mass and the void creates the dialetic tension of the project, one put in value the other and vice versa. The public spaces, lobbies and Sky-Gardens are interconnected along the tridimensional void of the atrium creating a stream of light, images and activity. The building itself is symbolically open to the city along the great façade atrium. Integrated in the complex skyline of the CBD, Guosen tower will respond with a pure external glass volume. All the complexity happens in the internal network of public spaces that are placed strategically in the facades taking advantage of the views and visibility according to the urban context. The upper levels of the building include the office complex of Guosen Securities, with an access highlighted by a triple height sky lobby. The very top levels are dedicated to the executive’s offices, including a sky garden and club room levels that offer a spectacular 360-degree panorama across Shenzhen CBD. Guosen Tower will be the first ecological tall building in Shenzhen with an instantly recognizable image into the city skyline. The facade atrium will be the company’s symbol of sustainability and social spaces to support Guosen in advancing its legacy of innovative ideas, pioneering finance services and global image well into the future.

긴 수직 아트리움을 가진 심천 국신증권 타워 국신증권 타워는 중국 심천에 위치한 228m 높이의 업무시설이다. 스튜디오 푹사스(Studio Fuksas)는 거대한 건축물들이 세워지고 있는 중국 심천에 수직적 공공 공간에 대한 새로운 콘셉트를 제안했다.

국신증권 타워의 입면에 3차원적인 빈 공간(Void)이 길게 이어져 있음을 볼 수 있다. 건축물을 따라 흐르는 흐름과 같은 빈 공간은 내부의 거대한 수직 아트리움으로 나타나며, 사무 공간에 다양한 공용 공간을 제공한다.

저층부의 수평적 볼륨(Podium)과 수직적 단면 사이의 관계에 대한 탐구에서 비롯됐다.

비워진 공간(Void)의 형태는 타워의 거대한 높이로 발생되는 “수직적 긴장감”이 디자인으로 표현된 것이며, 저층부의 수평적 볼륨과 대응하는 수직 단면 사이의 관계를 탐구한 결과이기도 하다. 콘셉트를 강조하기 위해 유리 외피로 감싼 타워의 형태는 간결하고 반듯한 육면체로 계획됐다. 내부에서는 업무시설로 채워진 공간(Solid mass)이 보이드(Void)에 의해 비워졌다. 솔리드(Solid)와 보이드(Void) 사이의 상호작용은 하나가 다른 하나에 가치를 부여하고, 다른 하나는 그 반대로 작용하면서 건물에 긴장감을 만들어낸다. 로비와 하늘 정원과 같은 공공 공간은 빛, 이미지, 그리고 활동의 흐름을 조성하는 아트리움의 3차원 보이드를 따라 서로 연결되어 있다. 건물은 그 자체로 거대한 파사드 아트리움을 따라 도시를 향해 상징적으로 개방되어 있다. 복잡한 비즈니스중심지구(CBD)의 스카이라인에 국신타워는 유리 외피로 감싼 간결한 형태로 통합될 것이다. 전망과 도심 맥락에 따른 눈에 띄는 장점을 포함한 복합성은 입면에 배치된 공공 공간들의 내부 네트워크에 의해 드러난다. 3층 높이의 스카이 로비로 강조된 입구와 건물의 상층부는 국신증권의 사무 공간을 포함한다. 매우 높은 층에는 임원실과 심천 비즈니스중심지구를 가로지르는 360도 파노라마 뷰를 제공하는 하늘 정원, 클럽룸이 배치되어 있다. 국신타워는 도시의 스카이라인에서 강한 인상을 주는 심천의 첫 지속가능한 고층 건물이다. 파사드 아트리움은 지속성이라는 회사의 상징이 될 것이고, 국신증권이 갖고 있는 혁신적인 아이디어와 선구적인 재정 서비스, 세계적인 이미지를 미래에 잘 개선할 수 있도록 돕는 사회적인 공간이 될 것이다.
