The request was for an intimate space for a four-person family. A search for promoting spaces of encounter and interaction, fostering an introspective relationship, isolated from the exterior. A series of volumes, in a horseshoe shape, reveal themselves and unwind throughout the way. The continuity of the facade, expressed by a single material (brick), contributes to the monolithic and introspective character of the concept. The multiple volumes shaping it become the skin containing and framing the privacy. When entering the house a continuously-flowing space is revealed surrounding the garden, the element that brings it all together and the core of the design, which is visible from all of the rooms and common spaces. The architectural program includes a garden, four bedrooms, a studio, living room, dining room, kitchen, outdoor patio, wine cellar, and rooftop terrace.

가족을 보호하는 벽돌집, 까사 시에라 프리아

까사 시에라 프리아는 4인 가족을 위한 아늑한 공간으로 설계된 집이다. 건축가는 외부와 분리된 내부 공간을 배치하면서, 만남과 상호 교류의 공간을 위한 계획을 세웠다. 일련의 매스는 말굽 형태로 정체성을 드러내며, 계획을 실현하기 위한 실마리를 제공한다. 단일 재료(벽돌)에 의해 표현된 파사드는 콘셉트의 단일적이고 내성적인 특성에 기여한다. 집을 구성하는 각각의 매스는 사생활을 보호하고 그 경계를 두르는 외피가 된다. 집에 들어갈 때, 연속적인 공간들이 정원 주위로 드러난다. 정원은 모든 공간과 동선을 한 데 모으는 요소이며, 모든 실들과 공용 공간에서 조망할 수 있는 디자인의 핵심이다. 또한, 이 집은 정원과 네 개의 침실, 스튜디오, 거실, 다이닝 룸, 주방, 외부 파티오, 와인 저장고, 그리고 옥탑 테라스로 구성되어 있다.
