House in Villa Carlos Paz Villa Carlos Paz of Córdoba, Argentina, is a city with picturesque landscapes and winding rivers and hills everywhere. Casa FL, a luxurious house, is situated on a steep slope that overlooks the mountains in the city.

From the interior space of the house, the nature stretching out to the bottom of the slope can be seen, and the most distinct feature of this place is the fact that the relationship between nature and the house is strengthened as this view is connected from the entrance of the house to the innermost space of the house. The house was built on a site where the floor height gradually decreases from the entrance road area to the back of the building at the opposite side. The basement garage is also used as a common space for families, such as a children’s playroom and barbecue spaces. As one walks to the inside, the scenery that unfolds below the slope at the back of the building can be seen from this space. The external space can be entered after passing the common space, and a buffer zone and staircase leading to the courtyard appear. Subsequently, after descending a few steps, a space to enjoy sunbathing and a small pool appear. The first floor is a place for the daily activities and social activities of families. Particularly, the large windows of the dining room and living room bring the scenery to the interior. The large windows lead to the terrace arranged at the back of the house. Private spaces such as a master bedroom and two bedrooms were arranged on the second floor.

Since the personalities of the first and second floors are different, the architect connected the two floors with two stairs and elevators. In particular, the “L” staircase that connects the first and second floors is the main space that is connected with the main spaces of the house. As the steps that are made of wood are continued from part of the floor to the staircase, it makes it seem as if a wooden carpet is connected to the second floor. The two wooden supports under the stairs allow the space below the stairs to be used, making it a bright place filled with light. The translucent glass wall next to the ascending stairs, is tinged with the natural light that changes every minute, connecting the interior and exterior spaces and completing the soft atmosphere of the house. The several steps that connect the common space of the basement and the small pool, the buffer zone, and the small infinity pool that appears like the horizon also strengthen the connection between the interior and exterior.

풍경이 펼쳐지는 집, 까사 FL

아르헨티나 코르도바(Córdoba) 주의 빌라 카를로스 파스(Villa Carlos Paz)는 구불구불한 강과 언덕의 그림같은 풍경이 곳곳에 펼쳐진 지역이다. 이 도시 속 산을 내려다볼 수 있는 가파른 경사지에 고급 주택 까사 FL이 자리한다.

주택의 내부 공간에서 경사지 아래로 펼쳐진 자연을 바라볼 수 있는데, 이런 경치가 입구에서부터 집 안 깊숙한 공간까지 연결되면서 자연과 집의 관계를 긴밀하게 만드는 점이 이곳의 가장 큰 특징이다. 집은 진입도로에서 반대편인 건물의 뒤편으로 등고가 점차 낮아지는 부지에 세워졌다. 지하층 차고는 어린이 놀이방과 바비큐 공간 등 가족들의 공용 공간으로 쓰이기도 한다. 이 공간은 내부로 걸어 들어올수록 건물 뒤편의 경사지 아래로 펼쳐진 풍경을 볼 수 있다. 공용 공간을 지나면 뒤편에 조성된 외부 공간으로 나갈 수 있으며, 안뜰로 이어지는 계단과 완충 공간이 나타난다. 이어서 몇 개의 계단을 내려가면, 일광욕을 즐길 수 있는 공간과 작은 수영장이 나타난다. 1층은 가족들의 일상과 사교적 활동을 위한 곳이다. 특히, 식당과 거실의 넓은 창은 풍경을 집 안으로 담아낸다. 넓은 창은 집의 뒤편에 마련된 테라스로 이어진다. 2층은 안방, 침실과 같은 개인 공간이 배치되어 있다.

성격이 다른 1층과 2층을 위해, 건축가는 두 개의 계단과 엘리베이터로 두 층을 연결했다. 특히, 1층과 2층을 연결하는 “L”자 모양의 계단은 집 안의 주요한 공간과 연결되는 주요 공간이다. 바닥의 일부에서부터 목재로 만들어진 단이 계단으로 이어져, 마치 목재로 만들어진 카펫이 2층까지 이어지는 길에 깔려 있는 것처럼 보인다. 계단 아래 두 개의 목재 지지대는 계단 아래 공간을 활용할 수 있도록 하고, 빛으로 채워진 밝은 곳처럼 만든다. 올라가는 계단 옆 반투명한 재질로 만들어진 유리벽은 시시각각 변하는 자연광 색으로 물들며, 내외부 공간을 연결하고 집의 부드러운 분위기를 완성시킨다. 지하의 공용공간과 작은 수영장을 이어주는 몇 개의 계단, 완충 공간, 수평선처럼 나타나는 작은 인피니티 풀(수영장)도 내외부의 연결을 한 층 강화한다.
