Blufish Restaurant

It is located on the basement level of the APM Shopping Mall in Wangfujing. The restaurant created an underwater world full of fantasy and mobility with white as basic tone and a blue and pink colored metal mesh extending down from the top of the ceiling.

The sense of continuity of two dining areas has been enhanced with the natural curved surface shape of the space, making the maximum use of layer height effectively. It extended the space as well, creating four units like undersea cave as more independent dining location.

To echo the theme of the restaurant and express the warm colors of the scene, after several rounds of deliberations and attempts, chose six kinds of hand-drawn sketches that looks fairy tales-like, easy and warm to represent the underwater coral and aquatic plants and fish groups. And use laser to cut the metal mesh to make these patterns, then attached them to the white curved surface model. In order to create a unique underwater image: gorgeous, translucent, vague, unstable visual effects. It is expected that people will feel cozy and relaxed indoors, as if there is fresh air of the Mediterranean Sea in Southern France blowing.

블루피쉬 레스토랑

이 레스토랑은 왕푸징의 APM쇼핑몰 1층에 있다. 흰색을 기본 색감으로 파랑 그리고 분홍색 메탈 메쉬를 천장부터 아래로 늘어뜨림으로써 환상과 유동성으로 가득 찬 해저 세계를 만들었다.

두 식사 공간의 연결성은 최대치로 높인 층고를 효율적으로 사용하면서 자연스럽게 휘어진 벽면에 의해 향상되었다. 이는 해저 동굴과 같은 4개 유닛을 더욱 독립적인 식사 장소로 만들면서 공간을 확장시킨다.

레스토랑의 테마를 공명시키고 따듯한 장면을 표현하기 위해 여러 차례의 심의와 시도를 거쳐, 해저 산호초와 해양 식물, 물고기를 대표하는 편안하고 따뜻해보이는 동화 같은 여섯 종류의 손으로 그린 스케치들을 선정했다. 이 패턴들을 만들기 위해 메탈 메쉬를 레이저 커팅하여 하얀 곡면에 부착하였고, 독특한 해저 이미지를 만들기 위해 멋있고, 화려하고, 희미하고, 급변하는 시각적 효과를 사용하였다. 프랑스 남부의 지중해에서 신선한 공기가 불어오듯이 사람들이 아늑함과 편안함을 느끼기를 기대했다.
