As requested by the Council of Pontevedra, we worked on the design of a plenary hall and administrative spaces of the second floor of the building, located in Michelena St. (Pontevedra).
The morphology was based on creating a central body where we would locate the plenary hall. This body should have a great presence in terms of representativeness and volume. The circulation spaces and other offices are articulated around it. To do this, we created a differentiating circulation space through a ceiling made with different materials and located at different heights. The rest of the rooms have a lower metal ceiling. In the longitudinal direction, next to the press room, it is possible to find the offices closed using glass and with direct access to the existing windows. Towards the end of the room we find an open office space, where we added storage furniture and tables joined by work sectors. We also designed an "office" or rest space in line with the materials and aesthetics that predominate in these areas. The materials used also seek to provide comfort to all users. To do this, we used acoustic attenuators on the ceiling of the plenary hall to minimize reverberation. The wood used, both on the ceiling and on the walls, brings warmth to the whole space. Thanks to the use of lighting and different materials, we gave a futuristic look to the area. In this sense, the use of indirect lights has allowed us to enhance the architectural volumes to create the desired effect. Following this futuristic vision, we used very neutral and continuous materials which helped us achieve clean spaces, without fanfare or unnecessary decorative elements. To achieve this, we used metallic finishes such as aluminum in the perimeter ceilings, melamine lining with an aluminum finish in the central volume, a gray vinyl flooring applied in a roll to avoid joints and the use of glass. The shape of the central element is curved in counterpoint to the orthogonal lines of the rest of the set, acquiring greater prominence.
스페인의 폰테베드라 협의회의 요청에 의해 미켈레나 세인트에 위치한 건물 2층 전당과 행정공간이 설계됐다.
형태는 본회의장이 위치할 중앙기구를 만드는 것을 기반으로 했다. 이 단체는 대표성과 부피 면에서 큰 존재감을 가져야 한다. 순환 공간과 다른 사무실들은 그것을 중심으로 연결되어 있다. 이를 위해 서로 다른 재질로 만들어진 천장과 높이가 다른 천장을 통해 차별화된 순환 공간을 만들었다. 나머지 방들은 낮은 금속 천장을 가지고 있다. 종방향으로 보면 기자실 옆에는 기존 창구로 바로 접근할 수 있고 유리를 이용해 문을 닫은 사무실들을 발견할 수 있다. 방의 끝자락에 열린 사무실 공간을 발견했고, 그곳에 수납용 가구와 작업 분야별로 연결된 테이블을 추가했다. 또한. 이러한 영역에서 두드러지는 재료와 미학에 맞춰 "사무실" 또는 휴식 공간을 디자인했다. 또한 사용된 재료는 모든 사용자에게 편안함을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본회의장 천장에 음향 감쇠기를 사용해 잔향을 최소화했다. 천장과 벽면에 사용된 목재는 공간 전체에 온기를 불어넣는다. 조명과 다양한 재료를 사용하여 미래지향적인 느낌을 주었다. 그런 의미에서 간접조명을 사용함으로써 건축물의 볼륨을 높여 원하는 효과를 낼 수 있었다. 이러한 미래지향적인 비전을 따라 팡파르나 불필요한 장식 요소 없이 깨끗한 공간을 만들 수 있도록 매우 중립적이고 지속적인 소재를 사용했다. 이를 위해 주변 천장에 알루미늄 등 금속 마감재를 사용했고, 중앙 볼륨에는 알루미늄 마감재를 사용한 멜라민 라이닝, 조인트 및 유리 사용을 피하기 위해 롤에 적용된 회색 비닐 바닥재와 같은 금속 마감재를 사용했다. 중심 요소의 모양은 나머지 세트의 직선과 대조적으로 곡선을 그리며 더 두드러지게 나타난다.
