The site is seen as soon as one exits the station and enters the commercial district in front of Gangneung Station. From the site, one can widely see Gangneung Station and its surroundings. It was a land facing a front road that was more than 20 meters wide, as well as an alley that is less than 2 meters wide to the back. The land is 55 pyeongs large, and a three-story neighborhood living facility with two parking spaces was requested. They wanted to organize a restaurant run by the client on the first floor, and spaces to be rented by charming resting restaurants on the second to third floors.
강릉 레드큐브
강릉역 앞의 상업지역으로, 역에서 나왔을 때 바로 눈에 들어오는 필지이다. 역으로 필지에서는 강릉역과 그 주변을 넓게 조망할 수 있다. 20미터가 넘는 전면도로와 2미터가 채 안 되는 후면 골목길에 접해 있는 땅이었다. 땅은 55평의 크기로 주차 2대가 가능한 3개 층의 근린생활시설이 요구되었다. 1층은 주인이 직접 운영하는 식당으로, 2,3층은 매력적인 휴게 음식점이 임대하는 공간으로 구성하기를 원했다.
