‘Salon de Cook’ is a cooking class studio that presents dishes that can be made using seasonal ingredients. ‘Salon de Cook’ is inspired by salons which have served as a place for debate, art and socialization from a long time ago. By positioning spaces for cooking and conversation together, diverse scene could be created. In public and intimate spaces of Salon de Cook, people can communicate by making and sharing food. It’s designed to go beyond the concept of a cooking studio for teaching and learning how to cook and become a place which uses food as a medium to create a new culture and make people share inspirations with each other.
살롱 드 쿡
살롱 드 쿡은 제철 재료를 이용해 만들 수 있는 요리를 선보이는 쿠킹 클래스 스튜디오이다. 살롱 드 쿡이라는 이름은 예전부터 토론과 예술, 사교의 공간이었던 살롱의 의미에서부터 출발했다. 그리하여 문화를 공유하는 살롱에 요리와 대화의 공간이 섞여 식문화를 주제로 한 다양한 장면이 펼쳐지기를 바랐다. 살롱 드 쿡은 좋은 음식을 통해 다른 사람들과 교류할 수 있도록 열린 공간을 제공하고, 내밀한 이야기를 나눌 수 있는 공간이 따로 구획되어 있어 다양한 활동을 포용한다. 단순히 요리를 가르치고 배우는 쿠킹 스튜디오의 개념을 넘어서, 음식이라는 매개체를 통해 새로운 문화가 탄생하고 다시금 서로에게 영감을 주는 공간이 되길 기대한다.
