REFUSE! INDOOR CYCLING

REFUSE! is an indoor cycling studio in Guadalajara, designed by Estudio Fernanda Orozco. The inspiration for this project comes from the ‘Tour the France’, the largest cycling race in the world, an athletic event with tradition, multiculturalism and full of colors through the uniforms and elements of cycling. For the proposal of interior design, Estudio Fernanda Orozco sought to transmit an experience of transitions through spaces and their colors, where the user is invited to live an energetic and motivational challenge. Like the ‘Tour the France’, the venue is divided into stages. For the reception area, the most tenuous colors of the brand were chosen, with the purpose of inviting the user to enter with confidence and be part of a great challenge. The next area is the preparation, where the colors are intensified and the selection of materials converts the space into a more urban environment through patterns, textures and expressive posters that generate movement. It is a transition space to enter the “Challenge inside” area, a dark room, where the navy blue color predominates on walls and floors. When the lights go out, the challenge starts with a play of lights that will invite you to give it all!

리퓨즈!

페르난도 오로즈코 스튜디오가 디자인한 리퓨즈(REFUSE!)는 과달라하라(Guadalajara)에 있는 실내 사이클 스튜디오이다. 이 프로젝트는 세계에서 가장 큰 사이클 대회인 ‘투어 더 프랑스’(Tour the France)에서 영감을 받았는데, 그것은 전통과 다문화, 그리고 사이클링의 유니폼과 도구를 통한 다채로운 색의 향연인 운동 경기이다. 실내 디자인은 공간과 색상을 통해 전환의 경험을 전달하고자 노력했다. ‘투어 더 프랑스’처럼 공간은 단계별로 나뉜다. 리셉션 영역의 경우, 연한 색상을 선택했는데, 사용자들이 자신감을 가지고 들어와 큰 도전의 일부가 될 수 있도록 초대한다. 옆에는 준비 공간이 있는데, 색상이 강화되고, 재료는 패턴, 질감, 표현적 포스터를 통해 공간을 보다 도시적인 환경으로 전환한다. 그곳은 벽과 바닥이 남색으로 된 어두운 방인 도전 영역(Challenge inside)에 들어가기 위한 전환 공간이다. 불이 꺼지면, 당신에게 모든 것을 주도록 초대할 빛의 유희와 함께 도전이 시작된다!
