“Gem, Dream, Style” Exhibition

The purpose of the “GEM, DREAM, STYLE” exhibition is to put viewers into different spatial dimensions created by varying sizes of jewels gems, and different fashion currents as presented by Vogue, to get a real sense of Bulgari designs in their particular time and dimension. Brilliant gems, colorful and glittering, stand for Bulgari, a combination of reality and illusion.

At the entrance, the installation of an 8m high picture wall featuring Vogue fashion, faces a shuttered mirror facade with curves from floor to ceiling. Each leaf of the mirrored shutters has a different mirroring angle of its own. SODA Architects uses the self-created “light reflection simulation program” together with the supporting atmospheric designs throughout the process to produce a visual effect which traverses between the real and the imagined.

All elements are reflected in the mirrored surfaces on the ceiling and the floor, providing the viewer with a dreamlike experience of visiting an endless space with gems floating in the air. Using avant-garde design concepts and technology, SODA Architects hopes to create multisensory environments to communicate feelings on a spiritual level regarding emotions, personality, history and culture.

“보석, 꿈, 스타일” 전시

“보석, 꿈, 스타일” 전시의 목적은 특정 시대와 차원에서 진정한 의미의 불가리 디자인을 느끼게 하려고, 사람들을 다양한 크기의 보석들과 보그에 의해 표현된 듯한 이색적인 패션 트렌드들로 구성된 다른 공간적 차원으로 이끄는 것이다. 눈부신 보석들, 화려함, 그리고 반짝거림은 현실과 환상의 결합인 불가리를 상징한다.

입구에 설치된 8m 높이의 보그 패션 사진은 바닥부터 천장까지 곡선으로 이루어지고 셔터식 거울 파사드와 마주한다. 거울로 이뤄진 셔터들은 저마다 다른 반사 각도를 갖고 있다. 소다 아키텍츠는 분위기 있는 디자인을 기본으로, 현실과 상상을 가로지르는 시각적 효과를 만들기 위해 모든 프로세스에 자체적으로 만든“ 빛 반사 시뮬레이션 프로그램”을 사용했다. 모든 구성 요소들은 거울로 된 천장과 바닥의 표면에서 반사되면서 보석들이 공중에 떠 다니는 끝 없는 공간을 방문한 듯한 꿈과 같은 경험을 제공해준다. 아방가르드한 디자인 콘셉트와 기술을 사용함으로써 건축가는 감정, 성격, 역사, 문화에 대한 정신적 차원의 교류가 가능한 공감각적인 환경을 만들기를 원했다.
