HEYTEA LAB GUANGZHOU

This project is the first HEYTEA LAB store to open in Guangzhou and is located in a shopping mall situated in a business-centric area. HEYTEA LAB is a prominent tea brand store that has been established in major Chinese cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, enhancing cultural relevance in the region and sharing the brand story with young people through areas for tea consumption. The design team chose “Teahouse” as the theme for this store, infusing it with local Guangzhou culture and a relaxed lifestyle to create a cozy and intimate environment. Therefore, white and natural wood colors were used in this space, and transparent glass curtain walls allow ample sunlight to enter the interior. The improved tile flooring and custom brickwork on the upper part of the walls draw inspiration from traditional Guangdong architecture.

이 프로젝트는 광저우에 처음 오픈하는 HEYTEA LAB 매장으로, 비즈니스중심구역의 쇼핑몰 안에 위치한다. ‘HEYTEA LAB’은 상해, 선전, 광저우 등 중국 대도시에 입점한 대표적인 차 브랜드 매장으로, 차를 마시는 공간을 매개로 지역의 문화와 연계성을 강화하고 브랜드 스토리를 청년들과 공유하고 있다. 디자인팀은 광저우 현지 문화와 여유로운 라이프스타일을 담아 ‘찻집’을 이 매장의 테마로 정하고 이곳에서 시간을 보내는 사람들이 아늑하고 친밀함을 느낄 수 있도록 하고자 했다. 그래서 이 공간은 흰색과 천연 목재 색이 사용됐으며, 투명한 유리 커튼월은 충분한 햇빛을 내부로 끌어들인다. 개량된 타일 바닥재와 벽면 상부의 맞춤형 벽돌은 전통적인 광둥식 건축에서 영감을 얻은 것이다.
