Weekend Residence of Muirhead Fields

A weekend house was built in a residential area adjacent to the Muirhead Golf fields. This house, located on the hillside, is located at the southern end of the slope where you can see an artificial lake. The house has four sloping roofs designed to fit the shape of the house well with the forest and the ridges around the forest. The architect tried to spatialize the living landscape by changing the perspective of the residents inside and outside. The garden of this house is not only surrounded by walls, but also composed of deep eaves, artificial waterfall walls, and segmented landscapes. While exploring the site, the architect found a place to create a comfortable living space in the middle of the slope, and since the surrounding houses stretch south, the house was designed in the form of "Ganko (standing shoulder to shoulder like flying wild geese)" along the slope to avoid the eyes of neighbors.

뮤리헤드 골프장과 인접한 주택가에 주말주택이 세워졌다. 산비탈에 자리 잡은 이 주택은 경사의 남쪽 끝에서 인공호수가 보이는 곳에 위치한다. 이 집은 집의 형태가 숲과 숲 주변 능선과 잘 맞도록 계획된 경사진 4개의 지붕이 있다. 건축가는 거주자가 바라보는 안과 밖의 관점을 바꾸어 생활 풍경을 공간화하고자 노력했다. 이 집의 정원은 벽으로 둘러싸여 있을 뿐만 아니라 깊은 처마, 인공폭포 벽, 그리고 분절된 풍경으로 조성되어 있다. 건축가는 현장을 답사하며 경사진 가운데 안락한 생활공간을 조성할 수 있는 곳을 발견했고, 주변의 집들이 남쪽을 향해 뻗어 있기 때문에 이 집은 이웃의 시선을 피해 비탈길을 따라 ‘간코(Ganko, 날아다니는 기러기처럼 어깨를 맞대고 선 모습)’ 형태로 설계됐다.
