House in Megamiyama

This house is located on a plateau relatively close to the city center. Residential development started about 50 years ago, but the city is still surrounded by abundant greenery. The client was born and raised in this village and has a strong attachment to it. This aspect became a factor in determining the location of the entrance. The design improves the existing old house, the untouched garden, and the vacant spaces on the large site while efficiently utilizing the entire plot. Since the view from the site improves toward the back of the building, the family's most-used living room was placed at the rear. The rest of the house is interconnected, divided into various sized vertical and horizontal areas, extending throughout the entire building. The roof features a wide eave that can serve as relaxation spaces. These diverse indoor and outdoor places can be utilized differently by each user, making them important for future generations of the family who will live here.

이 집은 도심에서 비교적 가까운 고원에 위치하고 있다. 약 50여 년 전에 주거 개발이 시작됐지만 여전히 풍부한 녹지로 둘러싸여 있는 곳이다. 건축주는 이 마을에서 태어나고 자랐으며 마을에 강한 애착을 가지고 있었다. 이 점은 입구의 위치를 결정하는 한 요소가 되었다. 커다란 부지 내에 존재하는 오래된 집과 가꿔지지 않은 정원, 외부의 빈 공간을 개선하고 전체 대지를 효율적으로 활용하는 것이 디자인의 목표였다. 대지에서 바라보는 전망이 건물 뒤쪽으로 갈수록 좋아지기 때문에 가족들이 가장 많은 시간을 보내는 거실을 뒤편에 배치했다. 집의 나머지 부분은 서로 연결되어 수직, 수평 다양한 크기로 나뉘어 건물 전체에 펼쳐져 있다. 지붕에는 다양한 휴식 공간이 될 수 있는 넓은 처마가 있다. 이렇게 다양한 내외부 공간은 사용자마다 다르게 활용할 수 있기 때문에 향후 살게 될 가족들에게는 중요한 역할을 하게 될 것이다.
