Late Night Kitchen

Shark’s fin is a dish originated from the Ming dynasty with a trading background between China and Southeast Asia, and it is the main menu of this restaurant. Designed to evoke the traditional cultural aroma of China, this space captures visitors' attention with various elements and shows the essence of spiritual gastronomy. As soon as visitors enter the entrance, they are greeted by natural stones. The texture of the wood that reveals the traces of time decorates the lobby, and as visitors move inside, they can read the meaning of respect for nature that this restaurant has. Each scene is meticulously arranged in a combination of dots, lines, and planes. The space that looks like a maze breaks the existing layout and settings. In addition, the round table that showcases traditional Chinese culture allows guests to chat and get closer to each other. In the moonlight-like lighting environment, the space invites guests to immerse themselves in tranquility, leaving behind their worries and burdens. This small late-night restaurant is a sanctuary for the mind.

샥스핀은 중국과 동남아시아 사이에서 무역을 배경으로 명나라에서 유래된 요리로, 이 레스토랑의 메인 메뉴다. 중국의 전통 문화적 향수를 불러일으키기 위하여 디자인된 이 공간은 다양한 요소로 방문자들의 눈길을 사로잡으며, 정신적 미식의 정수를 보여준다. 입구에서부터 들어오면 자연석들이 방문자를 맞이한다. 세월의 흔적이 그대로 드러난 목재 질감이 로비를 장식하며, 내부로 이동하면 이동할수록 이 식당이 가지고 있는 자연에 대한 존경의 의미를 읽을 수 있다. 각 장면은 점, 선, 평면의 조합에 대해 세심하게 배치됐다. 미로처럼 보이는 공간은 기존의 배치와 설정을 깨뜨린다. 또한, 중국의 전통문화를 보여주는 원탁은 손님이 수다를 떨고 서로 더 가까워질 수 있도록 해준다. 달빛 같은 조명 환경 속에서, 그 공간은 손님을 초대하여 그들의 걱정과 부담을 제쳐두고, 고요함에 몰입하게 한다. 이 작은 심야식당은 마음의 안식처이다.
