Overlooking a scenic landscape near the foot of the mountain and just 20minutes drive from the city, this vacation house for a family of three was stretched from north to south across the plot to let the view soak into every room and defined the private garden and swimming pool to the west and parking area with a small garden to the east of the house.
The first floor consists of an open living space with a pantry area on one end and a guest room on the other. Upon the second floor is the private part of the house with two bedrooms connected by an open-air living area in the middle.
Local materials are the essential elements of the house. Floor and roof tiles were made by local artisans whose workshops are not far from the house and reclaimed teaks are from an abandoned house. In order to protect the house from exposure to sunlight, bamboo louvers provide a delicate aperture to the delightful view while reducing the heat and letting in gentle breezes along the east and west facade of the house. The house stands subtly and in harmony with nature, light, breezes and the richness of natural texture.
대나무 루버로 햇빛을 조절하는 '농 호 17 하우스'
도심에서 차로 20분 정도 떨어져있는 '농 호 17 하우스'는 산기슭 가까이에 위치하여 아름다운 풍경을 즐길 수 있는 곳이다. 건물은 대지의 북쪽에서 남쪽으로 가로지르며 뻗어 있어, 세 가족을 위한 별장의 모든 방에서 주변의 경치를 즐길 수 있다. 정원은 개별로 나누어져 있는데, 건물의 서쪽에는 수영장, 동쪽에는 작은 정원과 주차장이 있다. 개방형 거실이 있는 1층의 한 쪽 끝으로는 팬트리가 있고, 반대편에는 게스트룸이 있다. 2층 중심부에는 야외 거실 공간이 있으며, 거실과 연결된 2개의 개별 침실이 있다.
지역의 재료가 주택의 주요 자재로 사용되었다. 바닥과 지붕의 타일은 작업장이 주변 지역의 장인들이 만들었고, 티크는
버려진 집에서 가져와 재활용한 것이다. 햇빛 노출로부터 건물을 보호하기 위해 만든 대나무 루버는 집의 동쪽과 서쪽을 따라 들어오는 열의 양을 줄여주고, 작은 구멍들을 통해 부드러운 바람이 스며들게 하며, 쾌적한 시야도 제공한다. 집은 자연, 빛 바람 그리고 풍부한 자연적 질감과 함께 미묘한 조화를 이룬다.
