STANGDAL SYNDROME

The Stangdal Syndrome refers to mental and physical reactions that feel ecstatic, such as overwhelming and awe, after seeing excellent works of art. Inspired by these mutual meanings, Beaver-lab's interpretation was added to solve the space like a work of art. Rough textures were actively used in the space to give the impression that the artwork was roughly made by hand. Contrary to the rough texture, minimal aesthetics were applied to other spatial elements such as colors, structures, and signboards. Unlike ordinary dark bar stores, the space was created with subtle brightness like a gallery where you can see artworks. The bar counter, which has a lot of time and touch, was interpreted as the most brilliant work in the space of the Standal Syndrome and was created by Beaver-lab.

스탕달 신드롬이란 뛰어난 예술 작품을 보고 압도감, 경외감 등 황홀경을 느끼는 정신적, 신체적 반응을 일컫는다. 이러한 상호 뜻에 영감을 받아 비버랩만의 해석을 더하여 공간을 하나의 예술 작품과 같이 풀어냈다. 예술 작품을 손으로 거칠게 빚어 놓은 듯한 느낌을 주기 위해 거친 질감들을 적극적으로 공간에 사용했다.거친 질감들과 반대로 이외 컬러, 구조, 간판 등 다른 공간 요소들에는 미니멀의 미학을 적용했다. 일반 어두운 바 매장과는 다르게 예술 작품을 관람하는 갤러리처럼 은은한 밝기의 조도로 공간을 연출했다. 많은 시간과 손길이 닿는 바 카운터는 스탕달 신드롬 공간 속 가장 빛나는 작품으로 해석하여 비버랩이 직접 빚어내어 만들었다.
