Colour and object abstemiousness and absence of loud toys and motives are connected to educational specifics, which are built on Montessori tools and systems.
The concept of the Kindergarten in Klecany reflects mostly one of the key elements of Montessori education: “a Montessori prepared environment”. An environment is separated into corners which offer places for so-called real activities. Based on children’s needs, they are free to cook in a real kitchen, work on a real workbench or take care of plants in a real garden. These corners are not just symbolic. They are placed into the room’s corners and project themselves from interiors to exteriors, where they create small corners in the garden. The ambition was to prepare a segmented environment on the limited land in a way that would attract the children’s interest and help them to perceive the world and think about architecture as something new and intriguing.
색상과 사물의 절제된 표현과 소리나는 장난감, 동기의 결여 등은 몬테소리 도구와 시스템에 기반한 교육적 세부사항이다.
클레차니 몬테소리 유치원의 콘셉트는 대부분 몬테소리 교육의 핵심 요소 중 하나인 “몬테소리가 준비된 환경”을 반영한다. 환경은 소위 체험 활동을 위한 장소인 모서리들로 분리된다. 어린이들의 수요에 따라, 그들은 자유롭게 실제 주방에서 요리할 수 있으며, 실제 작업대에서 작업을 하거나 정원에서 식물을 가꿔볼 수 있다. 이러한 모서리들은 그저 상징적인 것이 아니다. 이러한 체험 공간은 각 실의 모서리에 배치되어 유치원 내부에서부터 정원이 있는 외부까지 계획되었다. 건축가의 목표는 어린이들의 흥미를 끌고 그들이 세계를 인식하는 과정을 도와주며, 건축물을 새롭고 흥미로운 것으로 인식할 수 있도록 한정된 대지에 세분화된 환경을 준비하는 것이다.
