Easy N Building is located at the meeting point of the end of Deulan-gil, Suseong-gu, Daegu, and Suseong Lake. In Daegu, Suseong Lake is the most popular and well-known recreation area visited by many citizens. To the south of the building, you can see Suseong Lake and the mountain, and to the north and east, is a view of Deulan-gil, the number one food street in Suseong-gu.

The road in front has a lot of traffic, but there is not a lot of general pedestrian traffic. Since it is close to a recreation area, it is not a common area for a medical facility to be built. However, the client who runs a clinic did not hesitate about the location. This was not only because of its specialty as a laparoscopic surgery hospital, but also because it is a well-known location and that it would provide a pleasant environment and excellent view to patients visiting this facility. Therefore, it was necessary to create an architectural space that blends in with the landscape and the excellent natural environment that surround it.

Due to the limitation in number of floors and floor area ratio, there were concerns about the space composition as all the legal areas were occupied by the required areas, but the exterior material was the biggest concern of all. Red brick was chosen as the exterior material, of which the solid and heavy texture goes well with the surroundings, but its weight gives a sort of credibility. The façade of the brick mass was divided through the division of openings. This façade has a modern sense of simplicity, and the perfect mixture of metal materials make it seem as if the bricks were put together by a machine.

Although it is located along the road, it consists of four stories above ground and one basement level as it is a class 1 general residential area. Looking at the composition of each floor, except for some shops for lease, the first basement floor is used as a seminar space, the first floor shops for lease and a hall space, the second floor medical and examination rooms, the third-floor in-patient rooms, and the fourth-floor surgery and administrative support rooms. There is a garden on the roof.

이지앤빌딩은 대구 수성구 들안길의 끝자락과 수성못이 만나는 곳에 위치하고 있다. 대구에서 수성못은 시민이 많이 찾는 유원지인 동시에, 가장 인지도 있는 핫플레이스다. 건물은 남쪽으로 수성못과 앞산을 조망할 수 있고 북측과 동측으로는 수성구의 음식점 일번지인 들안길을 바라보고 있다.

 

 

 

 

SECTION

 

 

 

전면 도로는 차량의 통행량이 많은 지역이나, 일반적인 보행자의 동선은 그렇게 많지 않다. 유원지와 근접하고 있어 이 지역에 의료시설이 들어서는 것이 흔한 일은 아니다. 그러나 의원을 운영하는 건축주는 이 위치에 대해 별다른 망설임이 없었다. 복강경수술 전문병원이라는 특수성 때문이기도 하지만, 위치에 대한 인지성이 높고 이 시설을 찾아오는 환자들에게 쾌적한 환경과 우수한 전망을 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 좋은 선택이라고 판단했기 때문이다. 따라서 주변 풍경과 조화를 이루며, 우수한 인접 자연환경을 잘 어울리게 건축 공간에 담아야 할 필요가 있었다.

층수와 용적률의 제한으로 필요한 면적들이 법적 면적을 모두 차지하여 공간구성에 대한 고민도 있었지만, 무엇보다 많은 고민을 하게 만든 것은 외장재였다. 외장재로 선택된 붉은 벽돌은 견고하고 묵직한 재질감이 주변과 잘 어울리는 맛도 있지만, 그 무게감은 왠지 모를 신뢰도를 부여한다. 벽돌 매스 덩어리를 개구부 분할을 통해 면 분할을 했다. 이러한 파사드는 단순함의 현대적인 감각이 부여되고 적절히 섞여 있는 금속 소재는 기계에 의해 벽돌이 맞춰진 듯한 느낌이 든다.

병원은 지상 2~4층과 지하 1층으로 구성되어 있다. 층별 구성을 보면 일부의 임대상가를 제외하고는 세미나공간으로 사용하는 지하 1층, 지상 1층의 임대상가와 홀, 2층의 진료 및 검사실, 3층의 입원실, 4층의 수술 및 행정지원실로 구성되어 있으며, 옥상에는 휴게정원이 조성되어 있다.
