The house is only a few meters from the edge of the forest. Nestled among the trees, almost hidden compared to other white plaster houses next door, it almost looks as if it has been swallowed up by forests. The design is based on the local nature and color, in which you can find all shades of gray. From the beginning, it was clear that the facade and roof of the holiday home should be covered with aluminum in a similar dark color. The façade structure was used to create an intense rough surface that vaguely resembles oiled black wood and slow-growing spruce trunks.

The new building is represented by an aerodynamic but angular figure, where classic elements, such as the roof and the wall, give way to a clear shape and merge with each other. The appearance was created through many precisely set spatial scenes of the interior and on the basis of seasonally changing local climatic conditions, as the snow load in winter requires the choice of a steep roof angle. The idea of a “lookout tower” also determines the height of the house from the inside. It should resemble a tower rather than a house and should also serve as a hideaway.

Instead of the usual two floors, three levels of action were created - each with its own character. At the highest level, the house serves as a studio, library and also as a refuge. A square window with a side of 2.5m long frames the view of the treetops, the sky and the landscape. One floor lower, in addition to the bathroom and the open gallery space, we can also find sleeping corners here.

The floor is partly formed by a net that establishes a connection with the lowest level both visually and acoustically and functions as a rest area. It’s a place where you can unleash your imagination. Sitting in a net and not having solid ground underfoot has something to do with the dream of flying, as well as looking up at the sky.

이 집은 숲에서 불과 몇 미터 떨어지지 않은 가까운 곳에 자리하고 있다. 옆에 있는 회반죽으로 마감된 집에 비해 나무들 사이에 숨겨져 있어, 마치 숲이 삼킨 것처럼 보인다. 디자인은 지역의 특성과 색상을 기반으로 하고 있고 회색의 음영이 나타난다. 처음부터 휴가용 주택의 외관과 지붕은 비슷한 색의 어두운 알루미늄으로 계획했다. 파사드 구조는 기름칠 된 검은 목재와 천천히 자라는 가문비 나무 줄기와 비슷한 강하고 거친 표면이 만들어지도록 사용됐다.

 

 

 

 

ELEVATION & SECTION

 

 

 

새 건물은 공기 역학적이면서도 각진 형태로 표현했고 지붕이나 벽과 같은 고전적인 요소가 명확한 형태를 만들어주고 서로 결합시켜준다. 내부는 정밀하게 설정된 다양한 모습의 연출에 따라 지어졌으며, 겨울철 적설량이 지붕의 가파른 정도를 결정하는 것과 같이 지역의 기후에 따라 달라지는 계절적인 요소들이 건물의 외관을 만들어낸다 ‘전망대’라는 발상 또한 집 내부의 높이를 결정하는 데 영향을 줬다. 집보다는 탑의 형태로 보여야 하며 안식처의 역할도 해야 했다.

일반적인 2층이 아닌 3층의 형태로 만들어 각각의 고유한 특징을 지니도록 했다. 이 집의 가장 높은 층은 스튜디오, 도서관 그리고 쉴 수 있는 공간이 된다. 2.5m 길이의 정사각형 창을 통해 나무 꼭대기와 하늘을 비롯한 풍경을 볼 수 있다. 한 층 아래에는 욕실과 개방된 갤러리 공간과 쉴 수 있는 공간도 있다.

바닥은 부분적으로 그물 형태이고 시각, 청각으로 이어줄 뿐 아니라 휴식을 취할 수 있는 기능을 한다. 이곳은 당신의 상상력을 발휘할 수 있는 곳이다. 그물에 앉으면 발 밑에 닿는 곳이 없어 하늘을 올려다볼 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 하늘을 나는 꿈을 꾸는 것 처럼 느낄 수 있다.
