동명여자고등학교의 사용하고 있지 않은 빈 교실을 리모델링하여 고3 학생들을 위한 휴게공간 및 진로상담 시 대기공간을 설계한 프로젝트다. 직사각형의 공간이 아닌 곡선이 들어가 부드러운 공간을 선호했던 여학생들의 요구에 따라, 곡선을 이용한 2단 소파와 책상 그리고 바닥 패턴 등을 설계에 반영했다. 천정은 기존의 천정재를 제거하고 금속 메쉬와 원형 조명을 사용하여 깔끔하면서도 부드러운 공간감을 강조했다. 주재료 또한 따뜻한 색상의 목재를 사용하여 편안한 분위기의 휴식공간을 연출했다. 교실 내부의 디자인 언어가 외부로 확장될 수 있도록 복도 공간까지 내부에 사용된 원형 소파와 조명, 바닥 패턴 등을 부분적으로 연장하였는데, 이를 시각적으로 잘 보여주기 위해 개구부를 확장하고, 투명 유리를 사용하여 창이나 미닫이 문을 설계하였다.

Dongmyeong Girls' High School Rest Area
This project involved remodeling an unused classroom at Dongmyeong Girls' High School to create a rest and a waiting area for career counseling for senior students. In response to the students' preference for a softer space with curves rather than a rectangular one, the design incorporated curved two-tier sofas, desks, and floor patterns. The ceiling was updated by removing the existing ceiling materials and using metal mesh and circular lighting to emphasize a clean yet soft spatial feel. The main materials also included warm-toned wood to create a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. To extend the design language of the classroom interior to the corridor, elements such as circular sofas, lighting, and floor patterns were partially carried over into the space. Openings were expanded, and transparent glass was used for windows and sliding doors to enhance the visual connection.
