라라(rArA)는 주택 커스텀을 위한 다양한 가구와 디자인을 제시하는 브랜드이다. 라라 홀하우스 쇼룸은 이러한 기업의 제품을 소개하는 쇼룸 공간으로 계획됐다. 건축가는 합리적인 배치와 구조, 스타일을 추구하던 전통적인 건축적인 관점에서 벗어나 ‘사각형과 원형’의 이중 원형의 기둥과 정육면체의 교차점을 통한 정밀하고 기하학적인 미를 활용한 구조를 완성했다. 홀의 원형과 정육면체 기둥은 전시의 배치에 따라 공간을 가변적으로 사용할 수 있게 하였다. 이는 쇼룸 공간과 관람객의 활발한 상호작용을 촉진하며, 방문객이 유연하게 드나들 수 있는 변화와 질서를 적절히 부여한다. 또한 관람객이 쇼룸에 더욱 몰입할 수 있도록 자율성을 부여하며, 부드러운 선과 리듬을 통해 자연스럽고 웅장한 전시장의 분위기를 만든다. 매장의 메인 출입구에는 무수히 많은 대나무 조각이 수평적으로 짜인 벽면을 통해 독특하고 부드러움이 돋보이게 했다. 전시 공간은 빛과 그림자의 상호작용을 극대화하여 생활 공간을 효과적이고 세련되게 제안한다.

rArA is a brand that offers a wide range of furniture and designs for home customization. The rArA Whole-house Showroom was planned as a showroom space to introduce their products. The architects deviated from the traditional architectural perspective of a rational layout, structure, and style and completed a structure that utilizes the precise, geometric beauty via an intersection of a double circular column and cube that displays ‘squareness and roundness’. The circular shape of the hall and cube-shaped pillars allow the space to be used variably depending on the arrangement of the exhibits. This promotes active interaction between the showroom space and visitors, providing the right amount of change and order for visitors to enter and exit flexibly. It also gives visitors the autonomy to become more immersed in the showroom, and creates a natural, grandiose exhibition atmosphere with soft lines and rhythms. At the main entrance of the store, pieces of bamboo are woven horizontally on the wall, creating a soft, unique look. The exhibition space maximizes the interplay of light and shadow, proposing an effective and stylish living space.
