Located in the vibrant heart of downtown Shinokubo, this project is situated in the midst of a complex environment that doesn't immediately reveal its charm, despite its central urban location. To create a buffer zone, the designer incorporated a hotel, café, and garden. Rather than making the hotel rooms too spacious, more area was allocated to the café and garden. Each carefully designed hotel room, while compact, is in contrast with other minimally designed hotels that are solely for accommodations, easing the narrow feel of the rooms. The textures of the materials used to shape the space evoke the ambiance of European streets, stylish urban areas, and provide comfort and warmth.

활기찬 도심의 중심지인 신오쿠보 지역에 위치한 이 프로젝트는 도심지임에도 불구하고 매력적으로 다가오지 않는 복잡한 환경의 중간에 위치한다. 디자이너는 이곳을 완충지대로 만들기 위해 호텔, 카페 그리고 정원을 설계했다. 호텔의 객실을 조금 작게 만드는 대신, 카페와 정원에 좀 더 공간을 부여했다. 객실의 협소함을 완화하기 위해 면밀히 설계된 각 객실은 오직 숙박만을 위해 계획된 다른 미니멀한 호텔들과는 대조적이다. 공간을 구성하는 재료들의 질감을 통해 분위기 있는 유럽의 도로, 스타일리시한 도심 공간, 그리고 편안함과 온기를 제공한다.
