맥락없이 벌거벗은 콘크리트 공간이 술과 음식에 얽힌 기억을 풀어낼 분위기 좋은 와인바로 탈바꿈됐다. 기존 공간에서 가장 큰 특징은 크게 뚫린 창이었다. 디자이너는 가감하게 이용자들이 내부 공간과 와인에 집중할 수 있도록 창을 등지는 방향을 선택했다. 공간 중심에는 빛의 기둥을 설치하여 기존의 단절된 벽체를 감싸고 새로이 순환하는 흐름을 만들었다. 맞춤으로 제작된 테이블, 의자, 천장재, 조명 등 모든 요소가 중심의 기둥으로 흘러가도록 연출된다. 창은 풍경이자, 벽에 걸린 액자로 기능한다.

A contextless, bare concrete space has been transformed into a welcoming wine bar where memories intertwined with drinks and food can be unraveled. The most prominent feature of the original building was the large, open window. The designer chose to obscure the window to allow users to focus on the interior space and the wine. A light column was installed in the center of the area to envelop the existing disjointed walls and create a new flowing circulation. Custom-made tables, chairs, ceiling materials, lighting, and all other elements were designed to flow toward the central column. The window serves both as a view of the scenery and as a functional frame on the wall.
