Heng Salon - A 29m2 Pop-up Scalp Care Salon

The mall's facility change and remodeling left 29㎡ of space in front of the salon, and the salon operator wanted to try "something interesting" in this triangular space to increase the store's brand value, provide relaxation and entertainment space, and attract shopping mall users. The project space is triangular, and one side faces the mall atrium. The design team applied a thin translucent polycarbonate plate that guarantees privacy here and can bring in the natural light of the atrium. In addition, it has secured a window installation space to enable internal and external communication and strengthen internal transparency. Light penetrates the polycarbonate plate and fills the space, creating a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, while making the hair look even more shiny. Open and closed, this is a very unique space where customers can receive scalp care in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

이 매장이 자리한 쇼핑몰의 시설 변경 및 리모델링 덕에 미용실 앞에 29m2의 공간이 남게 되었고, 미용실 운영자는 매장의 브랜드 가치를 높이고 휴식 및 오락 공간을 제공하며, 쇼핑몰 이용객들의 관심을 끌 목적으로 이 삼각형 공간에서 ‘무언가 흥미로운 것’을 시도해보고 싶었다. 프로젝트 공간은 세모꼴을 이루고 있고, 한쪽 면이 쇼핑몰 아트리움을 마주하고 있다. 설계팀은 이곳의 사생활 보호를 보장해주면서도 아트리움의 자연광을 들여올 수 있는 얇은 반투명 폴리카보네이트 판재를 적용했다. 또한, 내부와 외부의 소통을 가능하게 하고, 내부 투명성을 강화해줄 창의 설치 공간을 확보했다. 빛은 폴리카보네이트 판재를 뚫고 들어와 공간을 가득 채우며 아늑하고 평화로운 분위기를 연출하는 동시에 머릿결을 더욱 빛나 보이게 한다. 열려 있으면서도 닫혀 있는 이곳은 매우 독특한 공간으로, 고객들은 편안하고 여유로운 분위기 속에서 두피 관리를 받을 수 있다.
