Auspice Aoyama is a small complex located in the dense center of Tokyo. There are small stores and offices and all of each are connected through empty space in the middle, exterior corridor, and staircase. The divided and emptied space this way, relieves surrounding suffocating environment and as there are many exposed surfaces with emptied gaps between the blocks, sufficient natural light and active ventilation activity arose. Between the randomly located walls, the landscape spaces decorated like gardens are scattered around so it becomes a place like oasis amid of bustling city center spaces.
어스피스 아오야마는 밀집된 도쿄 중심부에 있는 작은 규모의 복합 시설이다. 작은 규모의 상점들과 사무실들이 들어서 있으며, 중간의 빈 공간과 외부 통로, 계단을 통해 각각의 서로 연결된다. 이렇게 나눠지고 비워진 공간은 주변의 숨막히는 환경을 완화해주고, 블록 사이사이 빈 간격들로 인하여 바깥 공기에 노출되는 면이 많아져 충분한 자연광과 원할한 환기 활동이 일어난다. 무작위로 배치된 벽 사이에는 정원처럼 꾸며진 조경 공간들이 입체적으로 흩어져 있어, 번화한 도심 속 공간에 휴식을 취할 수 있는 오아시스 같은 곳이 된다.
