Undefined Future Home

At Design Shanghai 2020, a space showcasing imagination and inspiration for future homes was exhibited. The "Undefined Future Home" is a spatial design based on the theme "RE-LIFE," combining digital screens, domestic environments, future technologies, and lifestyle. It proposes a personalized approach to future homes that is not fixed but tailored to individual preferences. The screens eliminate discomfort caused by distance and economic disparities, creating a new societal mode characterized by the interaction between humans and machines, where all members can participate. It envisions a new era of homes that supports this interaction and which is more free and comfortable. This design reimagines the future home by removing materials, walls, and partitions and surrounding it with flexible, interactive screens, thereby creating a liberated and human-friendly residential space.

Design Shanghai 2020에서 미래 주택의 상상력과 영감을 보여주는 공간이 전시됐다. ‘언디파인드 퓨처 홈’은 ‘RE-LIFE’라는 주제를 바탕으로 디지털 스크린과 가정 환경, 미래 기술과 생활 모습을 결합한 공간 디자인으로, 미래 주택에 대해 고정되어 있지 않고 사람들마다 개인화된 방식을 제안한다. 스크린은 거리와 경제적 격차로 인한 불편함을 없애 주고 미래의 주택을 보다 자유롭고 편안하게 만들어 줄 것이라는 디자이너들의 개념아래 모든 구성원들이 참여할 수 있고 인간과 기계의 상호 작용을 지원하는 새로운 사회적 모드를 특징으로 한 새로운 가정의 시대를 상상해낸다. 이 디자인은 미래의 집에 대해 재료와 벽, 칸막이를 없애고 유연하며 상호작용이 가능한 스크린으로 둘러쌈으로써 자유롭고 인간 친화적인 미래의 주거공간을 창출한다.
