The aesthetics of the East are realized not only in mountains, water landscapes, but also in the secular life of everyday. From the landscape paintings of the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the literature of the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, ancient Chinese artworks have always conveyed the close relationship between nature and humans in subtle ways. This project takes design clues from the way traditional Chinese landscape paintings are arranged on scrolls. The design team was inspired by the portrait of Yongzheng Emperor Throughout the Twelve Months, a set of scroll paintings from the Qing Dynasty. The subtle depictions of the four seasons in the old painting are integrated into the space to form the space layout, form, and structure. The entire space is like a landscape painting that evokes resonance.
동양의 미학은 산과 수경, 그리고 일상 속의 세속적 삶에서도 구현된다. 남·북조의 산수화부터 당송명청의 문학에 이르기까지 중국 고대 미술품은 항상 자연경관과 인간의 밀접한 연관성을 미묘한 방식으로 전달했다. 이 프로젝트는 중국 전통 산수화가 두루마리에 공간을 배치하는 방식에서 디자인 단서를 얻는다. 디자인팀은 청나라 시대에 그려진 두루마리 그림 세트인 영정황제 십이월생 초상화에서 영감을 받았다. 오래된 그림 속 사계절에 대한 미묘한 묘사를 공간에 통합하여 공간 배치, 형태, 구조를 형성한다. 공간 전체가 공명을 불러일으키는 풍경화 같다.
