Homme is not just a store, but a unique experience of an urban environment within the context of a highly commercial space. Homme is a break from the usual shopping mall experience with a number of distinct aesthetic signs. The height gives the feeling of space and at the same time exposes the structure and ventilation of the space lighting systems.
Homme is a concept store known for its various options of clothing brands for men. The royal blue colored stairs, encircled by metal wires invite the visitor to check out the newly designed space. The floors are rendered in ceramic tiles, the walls colored in plain gray whereas the ceiling is made of corrugated metal sheets. To further emphasize the urban identity of the design, scaffolding was used to display clothes and to create other elements within the retail function of the store. A three-meter high mirror mounted within the scaffolding is a visual marker of the store as well. The mirror gives another dimension to the space due to its size but also due to the surprising effect of seeing a mirror staying perfectly put inside a scaffolding. The urban environment would not be complete if it would not have pieces of contemporary art in it. The painting by Yll Xhaferi, a well-known contemporary artist in Kosovo, enriches the space and adds vibrancy to the calmness of the terrace.
Homme는 단순한 매장이 아니라 고도로 상업성이 높은 공간이라는 맥락 안에서 도시 환경을 경험하는 독특한 공간이다. Homme는 다양한 미적 기호로 일반적인 쇼핑몰 경험에서 벗어나고자 한다. 천장의 높이는 공간감을 주는 동시에 공간 조명 시스템의 구조와 환기구를 노출한다.
Homme는 다양한 남성 의류 브랜드로 유명한 콘셉트 스토어다. 로열 블루 컬러의 계단을 금속 와이어로 둘러싸고 있어 새롭게 디자인된 공간을 확인하실 수 있다. 바닥은 세라믹 타일로, 벽은 일반 회색으로, 천장은 골판지 금속판으로 마감했다. 디자인의 도시적 정체성을 더욱 강조하기 위해 비계를 사용하여 옷을 전시하고 상점의 소매 기능 내에서 다른 요소를 만들었다. 비계 내부에 설치된 3미터 높이의 거울은 매장의 시각적 표시이기도 하다. 거울은 크기 때문에 공간에 또 다른 차원을 제공하지만 거울이 비계 안에 완벽하게 고정되어 있는 것을 보는 놀라운 효과로 인해 공간에 또 다른 차원을 부여한다. 코소보의 저명한 현대미술가 Yll Xhaferi의 그림은 공간을 풍요롭게 하고 테라스의 고요함에 활기를 더한다.
